New Ward Panel Chair required

Good afternoon St Peter's and Canalside residents,

A new Ward Panel Chair is required for our Ward Panel meetings!

The responsibilities of the Ward Panel Chair are to:

Attend all Ward Panel Meetings

Chair and facilitate Ward Panel Meetings

Ensure meetings are conducted fairly and all members have an opportunity to contribute

Provide strategic direction for the panel and help keep discussions focused on community safety priorities

The requirements of the Ward Panel Chair are:

Be a community member who lives, works or studies in the ward

Identify any conflicts of interest

Be of good characted, having no criminal convictions - pass vetting checks

Demonstrate commitment to the local communtiy

Acting impartially and maintaining public confidence
